Description Since its creation, the European Community today known as the European Union has been in constant move.

From a pan-national organization it has started taking into account the various regions that compose the European patchwork and its cultural and linguistic differences as well.

For any small and medium-sized enterprises wishing to expand their operations to the European Union, it is a real challenge and one needs the appropriate keys to assure a mere success to guarantee a long-term operation and not a one-time shot.

The aim of this course will be the acquisition of the required tools to correctly negotiate contracts in the "new" European Union and to handle the applicable EU rules and regulations regarding the setting-up of European operations. Finally, an overview of the applicable European rules to public funding as well as the adequate requirements for the setting-up of mixed public-private consortia for the carrying-out of European projects will be delivered.

The course will also be aimed at understanding the mechanisms of trans-European cooperation with associated countries such as those located on the Mediterranean.

After a theoretical course, the students will head to Brussels to attend the Immersion Trip especially designed for them and they will attend high-level conferences at the European Representatives of International Companies
