Description This course gives to students the opportunity to find a new meaning to their internship that they have done in an international company one year before (2015-2016). To do so, they have to think how they can extend the company's business in France. In this purpose, they have to find the idea to expand the business in France, build a business model, test and validate this business model on the market together with the customer and other possible parties. In the end, they have to estimate the main financial indicators that are important for the business plan (profitability, financial balance and funding plan) and to be abble to defend it in front of experts of the ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurhsip.
Objectives
Prerequisites A first understanding of the concept of Business Model (ideally, be able to use the "Business Model canvas" tool)
Sustainable development In order to implement the objectives of France's "Green Plan of Higher Education Institutions", each class considers the issues and stakes of Sustainable Development related to the subject matter being taught
Course sequencing
Method This course is done by using active pedagogy (Bonwell and Eison, 1991). This approach suggests that learners work collaboratively, discuss materials while role-playing, debate, engage in case study, take part in co-operative learning,
Assessment Written exam outside of class time (40 %) - Durée. 1h30
