Description Information systems management links IT with traditional disciplines such as strategy, finance and marketing. Information systems are tools that business leaders use to achieve operational excellence, develop new products and services, improve decision making and gain competitive advantage.

Among these tools, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), a series of integrated software modules that can be customized, can support almost all of a company's internal activities (from finance, human resources and production to supply chain and customer relationship management). They enable the integration of information and processes into a single architecture, making them more efficient and consistent for employees and business units, with the goal of improving operational excellence and creating value for the customer.

This course provides an overview of the central role played by integrated information systems within organizations (ERP, CRM, supply chain management systems). It also describes how new trends in infrastructure and applications provide new opportunities to companies: information systems that integrate data and business processes contribute to the performance and strategic management of organizations.

Finally, this course investigates organizational and sustainable development issues related to IS management: it exposes how implementing a new Information System can change an organization and how to think a sustainable IT policy.
