Description | In today's world, the supply chains in various industries are highly dispersed across the globe. The manufactured products move from one location to the other through various sources of transportation such as air, sea cargo, road, and railways. Along the way, these products pass by several transfers and checkpoints for configuration/reconfiguration before reaching the final location. A comprehensive understanding of supply chain, logistics and transportation is pivotal in managing the flow of activities across supply chain, ensuring agility, and adapting to change whenever essential. This course provide a comprehensive understanding to the students of Tourism management in understanding the key aspects of supply chain and logisitcs which will help them excelling in their careers in distinguished sectors. |
