Description | Financial markets play an important role in the global economy. They satisfy the financial needs of different agents: those looking for a return on their capital, the suppliers of capital, and those looking for financial capital to invest in a venture. The course aims to equip students with the necessary skills to thrive in the ever-changing financial landscape of today. It covers a wide range of financial instruments and institutions, as well as the most recent advancements and challenges in both domestic and international financial spheres. The course places a strong focus on comprehending essential theoretical concepts, understanding the significance of institutions in these markets, and recognizing their practical application. Specifically, this course provides an overview of the main financial markets, namely, the money market, the stock market, the bond market, and the futures and derivative markets. It also provides students with a general knowledge of the main products traded in those markets. |

Sustainable development | In order to implement the objectives of France's "Green Plan of Higher Education Institutions", each class considers the issues and stakes of Sustainable Development related to the subject matter being taught |
