Description Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) is a geographical acronym used by many multinational corporations. It is a globally accepted term and standardizes news and business activity relating to the regional areas of EMEA. Companies managing their business in Europe, Middle East & Africa usually entrust this region to a sales manager, who is responsible for sales throughout the region. This type of division would be used in North America, for example, to group together regions on a commercial level, with the steering of the region based in Europe, which would make it possible to better manage the region thanks to the historical links existing between Europe and the rest of this region. However, there are limits to this division: in particular, the heterogeneity of countries in terms of culture, income levels and political regimes and regional integration. Is the European Union, which has taken a major step towards integrating the markets, policies and institutions of its member states, a model for the Middle East and Africa? Can regional and sub-regional integration in Africa achieve a satisfactory degree of efficiency and fulfill the hopes of the founders of this regionalization process? Can the Middle East move beyond the divisions of its member states to create genuine regional cooperation conducive to business development ? What kind of inter-institutional cooperation is possible between European, African and Middle Eastern regional organizations to create a favorable environment for trade and commerce in this "great region"?
