Description This course provides a more extensive and in-depth overview of the history of the contemporary world. We will examine how the political, economic, and social changes after 1945 have affected people across the world. Particular emphasis will be placed upon the emergence of contemporary notions of nations, political ideologies, religion, economies and cultures from a global perspective. Prominent themes include reshaping of states in the post-war period, postcolonialism and decolonization, the development of a global economy, nationalism and revolutionary movements, the interplay of political, cultural, and religious values, and globalism and its influence on societies, economies, and political systems.

Sustainable development In order to implement the objectives of France's "Green Plan of Higher Education Institutions", each class considers the issues and stakes of Sustainable Development related to the subject matter being taught
