Description Begin an in-depth examination of the African commercial scene via the prism of regional institutions. This course examines the historical, economic, and sociopolitical factors that shape the African business environment, focusing on the roles of key regional institutions such as the African Union (AU), the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), and the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC). Students participate in interactive lectures, seminars, and group projects that draw on major economic theories and modern case studies to expand their grasp of the complicated dynamics regulating African industry.
